This year's top three-year-olds have been registering some impressive performances so far this season and MY SISTER should add to these displays when she faces five rivals in the opening event of tomorrow's Sunrise-6 at Caymanas Park.

Trained by Gary Subratie, MY SISTER has won twice in four starts, including a very good 1:12.2 over tomorrow's distance. That win came in her last start when she won by seven lengths, pulling away in the final 400 metres after splits of 22.4x46.2. She will face the starter with the same weight, 50kg, and will be too fast for her lone three-year-old rival, NADESHICO, and the four-year-olds A.P.I. and ARMAGEDDON.

Down in class CRAFTY STAR should have all the answers in Race Two over 1820 metres. By Storm Craft - Star Of The Sea, CRAFTY STAR did much better than the final placing suggests when facing $850,000 claimers last December 23. The five-year-old mare was eighth by 15 lengths, but her final time for 1600 metres was a fairly good 1:42.2. Tomorrow, she drops down to face $450,000 claimers over a distance she has done very well in the past and will be hard to beat. Her main rival, on current form, is CUP O TEA, who completed back-to-back wins on January 17. However, CRAFT STAR easily defeated CUP O TEA over the distance on August 1 last year and is training very well ahead of tomorrow's engagement.

BEST OF A BAD LOT

Bottom-of-the-barrel maidens will face the starter in Race Three over 1000 metres straight. There is very little recent form, but HAIL MARY, who placed second to Lady V last December 30, should prove the best of a bad lot. MAJOR POINT has the best time by far over the distance, but she has not been to the track on a raceday since December 2016. There are also no recent exercise gallops for the five-year-old mare.

Race Four, a 1400 metres event for $180,000 claimers who have not finished first or second since October 3 last year, is tailored for BATIDOR DE MUNDO. He was dropped down to this level on December 26 last year and the eight-year-old gelding was third by five lengths to Red Dread over 1400 metres. In his previous run at this level, BATIDOR DE MUNDO won by all of six lengths going 1600 metres.

The last two races in the Sunrise-6 should be won by MONEY MAGNET, with Shane Ellis up, and TEN CARATS, to be ridden by apprentice Odeen Edwards.
