Head coach Theodore Whitmore has welcomed news that Jamaica's national senior team will be in action again in April, when they play away to St. Kitts and Nevis on April 26 and a return game against Antigua and Barbuda on March 29.

The Reggae Boyz were held to a surprising 1-1 draw against Antigua and Barbuda on Sunday at Sabina Park, in their last friendly international.

The upcoming games, which are not on official FIFA dates, continue the country's preparation for the CONCACAF Nations League and allows for continued match practice for players.

Whitmore noted the importance of seeing players compete at the international level, as they continue their efforts to put a squad together for upcoming competitions.

"Seeing the players in games at the international level is the best way for the technical staff to assess the quality that they will bring to a competitive tournament. These games reveal all aspects of the players readiness for stiff competition, both on the field and off the field. We welcome all games", Whitmore said.

St Kitts and Nevis is currently ranked 107th in the latest FIFA World Ranking.
