Penn Relays 2018 | Chang surprises Stona in Jamaican discus sweep

PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania:
Calabar's Kai Chang secured the first individual win by a Jamaican male athlete at the 2018 Penn Relays in Philadelphia on Friday, as he surprised defending champion Roje Stona of St. Jago, to capture the High School Boys Championships of America discus title.

Chang threw the disc 64.79 metres to score only his second win over his opponent this season.

It was a clean sweep of the top four spots for Jamaican High school athletes as Stona was second with 63.39 metres.

Phillip Barnett of Excelsior was third with 61.90 metres, while last year's second place finisher, Daniel Cope of Petersfield High, ended  fourth with 58.09 metres.
