More than 60 golfers are expected to participate in the Rotary Club of St Andrew North Education Foundation's 21st anniversary Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday at the Caymanas Golf & Country Club, with a shot gun start at 8:30 a.m. The Buccaneers of Caymanas Golf Club have already indicated an intention to participate.

The event is to raise funds to continue the Rotary Club of St Andrew North's scholarship programme. Over the past 21 years, the club has given financial support to about 100 secondary and tertiary students in the St Andrew North region.

"After two decades of making contributions to several students in need, the directors of the foundation felt the time had come to bolster the fund in order to increase the level of support to each student. We are looking forward to a successful fundraiser and appreciate the contributions received in cash and kind from corporate Jamaica," said Donald Patterson, past president of the Rotary Club of St Andrew North and organiser of the tournament,
