Waterford High’s David Graham (left) comes under pressure from Deshawn Bernard of Wolmer’s Boys during their ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup encounter at Heroes Circle yesterday.

Coach of Camperdown High Christopher Bender has warned his rivals that his team will be at full strength for their next fixture following a 1-0 win against minnows Meadowbrook High in ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup Group C action yesterday.

Sean Daley netted the all-important goal for Camperdown in the 14th minute, pushing the east Kingston-based school to the maximum six points from two matches. They clipped Eltham High by the same margin last Saturday. Meadowbrook are without a point after two games.

Camperdown had the better chances, but Meadowbrook showed an improved performance after going down 4-1 to Charlie Smith last Saturday.

"I am satisfied with keeping another clean sheet,ut not the performance of the team. One of the things affecting us is that we have to cut and paste in terms of players. We have ID issues with some starting players, so we are fielding bench players in the starting eleven," Bender told The Gleaner after the game.

"I understand that ISSA said the IDs should be ready on Thursday, so we are expecting a full-strength team for the next group game against Norman Manley on Friday. We have about six players waiting," he added.

"I am happy with the game in one sense as we kept a clean sheet. We will get it together with the players coming in. We will improve as the games come along," Bender insisted.
