JAGA hosts personal development workshop
In an effort to further develop gymnastics coaches and board members, the Jamaica Amateur Gymnastics Association (JAGA) hosted a personal development workshop. This was organised by president Nicole Grant-Brown. It was held on Saturday, June 8, at the Pembroke Hall Gym.
The workshop, which had a number of coaches and board members in attendance, was conducted by personal development trainer and life coach Carmen Clarke.
“I believe in constant improvement and growth in one’s life, and as such, I decided to have this workshop to further enhance our coaches and board members to best serve our children,” Grant-Brown said.
The workshop was welcomed and well received by the members.
“We appreciate any type of assistance and advice on how to conduct ourselves as coaches so we can best help our children,” coach Kerion Grant said.
Grant-Brown said the workshop will be held twice each year.
