Olivier Shield clash stopped due to lighting issues

The Olivier Shield contest between daCosta Cup champions Clarendon College and Manning Cup kings Jamaica College was stopped at the 26th minute mark due to poor lighting and issues with the floodlights at the National Stadium.

The issue is believed to have been caused by a power cut in the area.

The referees were forced to bring a pause to the action at approximately 5:33 p.m. with the score locked at 0-0.

ISSA's Competitions Director George Forbes has indicated that they were expecting the generator at the facility to kick in after 15 minutes but that time has since passed and the game is yet to be restarted.
