Jamaica to pull out of World Relays

Jamaica will not be sending a team to the World Athletics Relays, which is set for Chorzow in Poland.

The decision to withdraw from the May 1-2 championship event, is expected to be confirmed by the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association shortly (JAAA).

The JAAA had a few days ago, named a 39-member team, which included the likes of double Olympic sprint champion Elaine Thompson Herah and veteran sprinter Asafa Powell, but have joined the likes of the United States, as teams that have decided not to attend the event.
