Waterhouse’s attack will be boosted by the return of Colorado Murray, the club’s top scorer from last season for today’s Jamaica Premier League (JPL) game against Dunbeholden at the UWI/Captain Horace Burrell Centre of Excellence at 3:30 p.m.

Murray missed Waterhouse’s opening match against Harbour View on Monday but the striker will play some part against Dunbeholden says coach Marcel Gayle.

“Colorado is here. He is not fully fit as yet. He is about 60 per cent but we are going to play him until he gets to 100 per cent,” Gayle commented.

Murray has been one of the league’s leading goal-getters for the last two seasons. While at Tivoli in the 2018-2019 season, he finished runner-up on the scoring chart to Portmore’s Javon East with 12 goals.

Then last season, before the competition was cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic, he was joint second on the list of top scorers with 12 goals to his name.

“He will definitely be in the squad but I cannot guarantee how many minutes he will play this week, but he is a welcome addition,” Gayle added.

Meanwhile, the Waterhouse coach said he anticipates a very difficult match from their St Catherine opponents, as they always bring out the best in his team.

“They are a very good team. They have some of the best players in the league right now. So we are not looking at their 2-0 loss to Portmore United.

“We know they are a very good team and we always get fireworks when we play Dunbeholden.

“They are one of the teams that always bring the best out of Waterhouse and we expect nothing less for tomorrow (today),” he said.

Waterhouse played to a 1-1 draw with Harbour View in their first match of the season.

In Saturday’s first game, Mount Pleasant take on Humble Lion at 1 p.m.

Tomorrow, Tivoli and Arnett Gardens clash at 1 p.m. before Vere United go up against Portmore in the feature match at 3:30 p.m.

Then the lone game on Monday will see Harbour View taking on Cavalier at 3:30 p.m.
