Mount Pleasant Academy recorded their third straight victory in this season’s Jamaica Premier League competition, after a hard-fought 1-0win over Vere United at the UWI-JFF Captain Horace Burrell Centre of Excellence in St Andrew today.

Substitute Kesslon Hall netted the all-important goal for Mount Pleasant in the 79th minute.

Hall, a long serving member of the Mount Pleasant Academy team, said he was delighted with his team’s performance.

“I think we played well and I am happy that I was able to score the winning goal for my team,” said Hall, who has been a member of the Mount Pleasant Academy team since 2017.

“We have won three straight games in the competition now and I think that this is good for us so I just hope that we can keep on winning more games this season,” he said.
