West Indies captain Kraigg Brathwaite fell six runs short of what would have been a well-deserved century as the home side went into tea at 231 for six, a lead of 128 runs against Bangladesh, on Friday's day two of the first Test at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua and Barbuda

Brathwaite was looking good for his 11th Test ton before he was trapped in front with a low creeping delivery from Khaled Ahmed for 96. The Barbadian had hit nine fours and added 21 runs after lunch.

Jermaine Blackwood is carrying on the fight with ans unbeaten 53 from 122 balls with eight fours.

The tourists picked up two more wickets before the tea interval. First Kyle Mayers went leg before wicket to Mehidy Hasan for seven, and then the off-spinner found the edge of wicket-keeper Joshua Da Silva's bat and he was caught behind for one.

Alzzari Joseph who is yet to score, will resume with Blackwood. Hasan has so far claimed two for 41.
