Molynes tame Humble Lion
The Alex Thomas-coached Molynes United, following a 2-1 defeat in their opening encounter against Waterhouse, got their first victory of this Jamaica Premier League (JPL) season yesterday, when they defeated Andrew Price’s Humble Lion 3-2 at Stadium East.
Molynes United opened their account in the fifth minute through a calm and composed finish by Tyrique Wilson, who ended the fixture with a brace, as his second on the day was in the 30th minute.
Roshawn Livingston’s 55th-minute strike made it 3-1, as Andrew Clennon had scored in the 20th minute to level the score at 1-1 for Humble Lion, who provided a late scare for Molynes with Andrew Vanzie scoring a free-kick in time added to reduce the deficit.
