An own goal from captain Fitzroy Cummings in the 11th minute saw Vere United going down 1-0 to Waterhouse FC in their Jamaica Premier League (JPL) encounter at the Wembley Centre of Excellence today.

In other games, Harbour View hammered Faulkland FC 6-1, Humble Lion edged Montego Bay United 1-0 and Mount Pleasant also had a 1-0 win over Cavalier.
