LONDON (CMC):

Jamaica Reggae Girl forward Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw notched the opener and Chloe Kelly scored her first English FA Women’s Super League (WSL) goal of the season when Manchester City beat bottom-placed Leicester City 2-0 today at King Power Stadium, to move up to third.

A looping header from Shaw, the WSL top scorer, gave the Jamaican her 10th league goal of the season and 17th in all competitions from as many matches – and put Gareth Taylor’s side in front on 61 minutes.

Kelly’s superb strike made sure of full points 13 minutes later, the England forward cutting in from the right before rifling a low, left-footed strike into the far corner.
