Jamaica set to field 79-strong Carifta line-up

World Under 20 100m silver medalist Bouwahjgie Nkrumie, defending Carfita Games 100m champion DeAndre Daley, World under 100m silver medalist Serena Cole, World under 20 200m bronze medalist Alana Reid are among the notable names on Jamaica's squad to the 50th annual Carifta Games in the Bahamas.

The squad was released today, a day before the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Athletics Championships (Champs) are scheduled to begin at the National Stadium.

Among the names to compete will be World Under 20 triple jump champion Jaydon Hibbert who recently broke the world under 20 record at the NCAA Indoor Championships.

Two multi-discipline athletes will be chosen at the end of Champs.
