TRIALS2023 | Morrison fastest through to women’s 100m final

World champion 100-metre silver medallist, Shericka Jackson, safely booked her spot in the final of the women’s 100 metres at the National Senior and Junior Championships inside the National Stadium this afternoon.

Jackson cruised to an 11.31-second clocking to win semi-final one ahead of Sashalee Forbes, 11.39, and Alana Reid, 11.43.

Natasha Morrison’s time of 11.14 is the quickest time heading into tonight’s final. Morrison finished ahead of Elaine Thompson-Herah, who also clocked 11.14.

Briana Williams is also through after finishing third in that heat, stopping the clock at 11.22.

The complete list for the women’s 100m final is Morrison, Thompson-Herah, Briana Williams, Jackson, Moore, Shockoria Wallace, Forbes and Reid.
