Jamaica’s Rajindra Campbell failed to register a mark in the final of the men’s shot put competition at the ongoing World Championship in Budapest.

Campbell, who entered the final with a 20.83 metres mark, failed on his three throws in the final, which was won by United States of America’s (USA) Ryan Crouser, who threw a championship record of 23.51.

Italy’s Leonardo Fabbri secured the silver medal after his personal best effort of 22.34 metres, while USA’s Joe Kovacs took the bronze medal with 22.12.
