Jamaica's Rushell Clayton is overjoyed to win the women's 400 metres hurdles at the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary today.

Jamaica had three representatives in the final of the women’s 400 metres hurdles at the World Championships, with only Rushell Clayton walking away with silverware as she finished third today in Budapest, Hungary.

Clayton ran a personal best of 52:81 seconds to finish behind eventual winner Femke Bol of the Netherlands, who won the event in a time of 51:70.

Second place went to United States of America’s Shamier Little, who clocked a season’s best of 52:80.

Jamaica’s Janieve Russell placed seventh in 54:28 seconds, while compatriot Andrenette Knight was eighth in a time of 55:20.
