UK to close door to non-English speakers, unskilled workers

Weeks after officially leaving the European Union, Britain has announced plans to take ‘full control’ of its borders.
According to the Government, Britain will be closing its borders to unskilled workers.
As part of a fundamental overhaul of immigration laws, those who cannot speak English will also be affected.
The move will end the era of cheap EU labour in factories, warehouses, hotels and restaurants, a development that industry leaders say will be disaster for economy and jobs.
At the same time, the United Kingdom has unveiling its Australian-style points system.
The government says the new system will, for the first time in decades, eliminate the distortion caused by EU freedom of movement.
