CSW Universal Spa's official launch party held at the poolside of the Hilton Kingston Jamaica hotel, on Tuesday, was quite intimate and lovely.

Clients and a few overseas visitors staying at the hotel came out to support the opening. Sharon Williamson, owner of the spa told The Gleaner that before moving to the Hilton, the spa was located at Haining Road under another name, Face Solutions and More. She said she decided to change location and name because she wanted to be more diverse and to cater to a wider cross-section of people. "This is what moving to the Hilton allows us to do and it is more secure so we expect to attract more clients," said Williamson.

At the launch party, guests mingled and enjoyed the refreshment provided. They were also treated to a few of the spa's signature services such as the CSW brown sugar and coffee hand scrub. Patrons also got free skin consultation from Audley Morris, Nu Skin and anti-ageing specialist at the spa.

Some lucky patrons were allowed to choose Easter eggs bearing a gift inside. Others won a month's membership at Gymkhana, decorative notebooks, or free spa treatments.

A tour of the spa revealed a glimpse of what to expect on future visits. Upon entry, a small waterfall creates a soothing atmosphere that is enhanced by the calming odour of aromatherapy candles burning. The warm interior colours make way for a relaxing environment in which patrons are pampered. There is a manicure and pedicure room, massage and body scrub room, and a facial and rejuvenation room. The spa was so relaxing that some patrons were reluctant to leave.

The party was the perfect occasion for prospective clients to be introduced to the spa's products and services.
