On Monday, the elegant Frances Hadeed-Awn; the lovely Deborah-Ann Garbutt; former Pulse international model and Miss Jamaica fashion model, the fab Simone Walters-March, will celebrate their special day. On Tuesday, the beautiful Janice Christie; former deputy head of mission of the Argentinian Embassy Daniel Pepa, now back home in Buenos Aires; former insurance executive Anthony Duhaney; the enigmatic gender-bending Winston Bartley of Hedonism II; and Pulse modelling sensation, the stunning Nicole Simpson, all celebrate their special day on this day!

On Wednesday, the lovely Jennifer Stannigar, formerly of St Andrew, now domiciled in Raleigh, North Carolina; and the beautiful Cindy Lane Ross, fitness expert of Mobile, Alabama and north coast habitue, will both celebrate their birthday!

Next Thursday, style doyenne and beauty, the oh-so-elegant Bernadette McKinley-Matalon, celebrates her special day. Come next Friday, socialite Erica Downer-Hamilton and the oh-so-fab Jennifer Izzo, formerly of Negril, now resident of North Carolina, will both celebrate their very special day!

Now, bad roads or no, it's all about destination Negril this weekend, for the anniversary celebrations of Couples Swept Away and Couples Negril on Friday and Saturday night, as the two-day day and night affair promises to be a weekend smasheroni! And next weekend it's all about Negril again for the staging of the Mr Caribbean Inter-national Contest, over at the racy Hedonism II Resort, where it promises to be a week of adult fun and games and nothing but! Sadly, this weather and its tragic consequences last week and the threat of even more inclement weather over this weekend have led to the postponement of this weekend's Ocean Style/ESPN celebrity Golf Invitational at the fabulous Half Moon Hotel and Villas.

And the Hogs-a-holics are back from Kansas, where they competed for bragging rights in the American Grill-off, where they earned a respectable top-100 placing out of the near 600 competitors.
