Jamaica Freight and Shipping mourns loss of employee
The Jamaica Freight and Shipping Company Ltd and Seaboard Freight and Shipping Jamaica Limited family are deeply saddened at the recent tragic and untimely death of employee, Hanif Fuller.
Fuller was employed as an equipment coordinator on August 3, 2006, and later promoted to supervisor.
As a member of staff, he was very concerned about his fellow staff members' welfare. As such, safety and security issues at the port were always on the front burner for him.
Always with a smile, he would greet his colleagues asking, "Are you all right?" He was very affable and the life of the party. He will be sadly missed by all for his hard work, dedication, and professionalism.
Fuller loved boating, and was trained in dog breeding and rearing by his Uncle Roxy, a marine pilot.
He attended Mona Preparatory School, Priory High School, and later matriculated to the Caribbean Maritime Institute.
He held employment at the following companies:
- Coldfield Manufacturing Ltd - supervisor
- Whitehouse Seafood - general manager
- The Port Authority of Jamaica - apprentice marine pilot.
The management and staff of both companies extend sincere condolences to the family and friends of Fuller and join with them in the mourning of his untimely death. May his soul rest in peace and light perpetual shine on him. Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.
