Jamaicans join WI Rugby Sevens team

Two Jamaicans have been invited to the Rugby West Indies squad for the USA Sevens tournament in San Diego from February 8 to 9.



The Jamaican players are Elroy Graham and Donald Walters.



They will travel to Barbados next month to meet the remaining 10 players for a training camp ahead of the tournament.



Five players, namely Claudius Butts, Kevin McKenzie, Richard Staglon, Theo Henry and Albert LaRose will represent Guyana.



The other invitees are Andre Carbera, Kelson Figaro and Bevon Armitage from Trinidad and Tobago; Jeremino Cooper from The Bahamas and Kurt Johnson from Barbados.



Five non-traveling reserves were named including Jamaica’s Nicholas Pusey.
