The Port Authority of Jamaica (PAJ) will embark on a series of familiarisation trips (Fam Trips) through which it will host various executives from the major cruise lines at the port towns in Jamaica.

The first Fam Trip commenced on October 8 and will last until October 12 with executives from the Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL). NCL has not called on Jamaica for the past three years. The PAJ anticipates that this opportunity will serve to highlight the various features of Jamaica's ports, positioning them as both suitable ports of call as well as home ports. It will also be used as an opportunity to showcase the various attractions in the port towns - shopping, dining, bar and recreational facilities.
