MUMBAI, India (CMC):
West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has released a music video for the popular single, Chalo Chalo, featuring Trinidad and Tobago crossover artiste Nisha B.
The release of the music video occurred on the same day Bravo won the Purple Cap for taking the most wickets in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The Trinidad and Tobago cricketer, who had a successful campaign with beaten IPL finalist Chennai Super Kings, also became the first player to score 1,000 runs and take 100 wickets in the eight-year-old IPL.
The music video, one of two for the uptempo Anglo/Hindi fusion piece, was shot in India.
The second, which will be released in two weeks, will feature Nisha B and candid moments of popular IPL stars and Bravo's teammates, including MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina.
"It is all for love of country. I want the video and song to showcase local talent and entertainment to the world, and Nisha B was the perfect fit," said Bravo.
"As for cricket, I am blessed to be doing what I love and again showing the world what T&T is made of."
Bravo was presented with the Most Popular Cricketer award at the CEAT International Cricket Rating Awards, in Mumbai on Sunday. He returns home on Friday where he will begin preparing for the Caribbean Premier League.
