Brian Pengelley, the former president of the Jamaica Manufacturers’ Association (JMA) is urging more competent Jamaicans to give service to the public.
He made the appeal this morning at a function during which Metry Seaga was presented as the new head of the manufacturing group.
According to Pengelley, people often criticise but are unwilling to make themselves available for leadership positions to improve conditions in the country.

Pengelley served for four straight years as JMA president.
Meanwhile, Seaga says crime, energy, tax reform and the procurement policy will be at the top of his agenda.
