The Manchester Police say robbery may have been the motive for this afternoon’s murder of Christiana businessman, Terrence Green.
Green was shot dead in the North East Manchester town around noon while making his way from a bank to the family-operated Christiana Pharmacy.
A large crowd descended on the scene after the shooting.
This is the third reported shooting in the North East Manchester town in recent weeks.
Meanwhile, Councillor for the Christiana Division, Desmond Harrison, has condemned the killing while demanding that the authorities do more to reduce crime.
