The police say a 32-year-old man has died in Roehampton in Anchovy, St James, from injuries he received after a boat fell on him.

He has been identified as Shamoy Cunningham, of Williamsfield, Westmoreland.

Reports from the Anchovy Police are that about 1:19 yesterday afternoon, Cummingham was effecting repairs on the boat when it allegedly fell on him.

He sustained multiple injuries and was taken to hospital where he died while being treated.
