A man was killed this morning after allegedly running into the path of a Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) bus on a section of Hagley Park Road in St Andrew. 

Managing director of the JUTC, Colin Campbell, says the incident happened about 7:30 a.m. 

He says the preliminary reports indicate that the man was running across the street when he was hit by the bus which plies a Portmore, St Catherine route. 

Campbell says the windshield of the bus was damaged. 

The man's identity has not been ascertained. 

Meanwhile, head of the St Andrew Central Police, Senior Superintendent Millicent Sproul Thomas, says investigators are still probing the issue.
