Usain Bolt's Tracks and Records has introduced a line of healthy and affordable wraps to the menu specially for those who are trying to stay or get into shape for the Carnival season or cutting out meat for Lent.
According to Marketing Manager at Tracks Monique Solomon: "We've always had our well-loved jerked chicken wrap which is usually served with sweet potato chips however now we're offering all our wraps with a small soup for a light yet hearty meal. Along with the jerk chicken wrap, the choices are curried shrimp, jerk grilled fish or veggie wrap which is a tropical spin on the classic Caesar salad and includes grilled pineapple and raisins. Our wraps start at only $900 and all come with the option of adding a small soup, your choice of chicken or red peas, for just $200 extra, making it the perfect lunch option.
The curried shrimp wrap has been a favourite among patrons so far who enjoy the sweetness of the plantains included in the wrap as a surprising twist of flavour. The grilled fish is not far behind, hitting the right notes for those veering away from chicken and red meat for Lent as it is has a sweet yet fiery flavour profile with mango chutney and a little Scotch bonnet in the mix. Solomon shared: "We thought it was important to add these option for patrons who enjoy eating out every now and then yet still want to maintain a healthy lifestyle while enjoying the company of friends and family in our lively Jamaican restaurant and sports bar."
