Saint International's Naki Depass is among the world's top new faces in the fashion world. The Jamaican model has been so acknowledged by two of the world's leading fashion portals - Vogue.com and Models.com.
Fashion insiders across the world first took note of the exotic Jamaican beauty, as she made her global debut as an exclusive at the Burberry show for London Fashion Week booked by Saint International. Her sharply defined features - high cheekbones, perfect model body and skin, made her a standout.
On the heels of London, all wondered where she would pop up next. The Miuccia Prada star power runway was her next stop.
The Prada Milan show casting is seen as the 'gold standard of all casts' and is known to catapult new faces into the modeling stratosphere. Paris was the next stop and anticipation was high for the Jamaican beauty. Again, the pristine cast at Phoebe Philo's Celine and the bold face cast at Riccardo Tischi's Givenchy, both featuring Naki in their midst, instantly propelling her into the super exclusive 'top new face of the season'.
Straight from the runway, Naki was swept into a multi-page fashion editorial for Italian Elle, with powerful lens man Alexei Hay. The newly minted fashion superstar just returned from Paris and will be a special guest at the staging of this week's finale for the Fashion Face of the Caribbean.
Originally scouted as a finalist for this year's model contest, her career was put on the fast track after she was presented to the world's top casting directors and show producer by Peters. She will be joining Saint supermodels Tami Williams and Kai Newman.
The event is sponsored by FAME FM, Namaste Olive Oil, CAMPARI, GDP Studios, Clear Sounds Productions, and The Courtleigh Hotel & Suites.
