Courtesy of Je-Vaughn Watson's brilliant bullet header in the 16th minute of play, Jamaica closed the first-half looking comfortable, confident and commanding against the Costa Ricans in their crucial first leg World Cup Qualifier at the National Stadium.
Left-back Kemar Lawrence played a superb long ball from the left side of the field which Watson attacked and rattled Costa Rica international and Real Madrid goal keeper Keylor Nava's goal.
It was a half dominated by the home team who did not allow the South Americans to settle.
