National Under-20 goalkeeper Akeem Chambers has joined the Reggae Boyz squad ahead of tonight's crucial return leg CONCACAF World Cup qualifier against host Costa Rica inside Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica.
The match is set to start 9 o'clock.
Chambers has been selected to replace Shaven Sean-Paul of Portmore United as back-up to Andre Blake and Ryan Thompson.
Under new FIFA regulations, all squads are required to have three goalkeepers.
The Reggae Boyz are in third place in the four-team Group B with four points, the same as Panama, who have a slightly inferior goal difference to the Jamaicans.
Costa Rica lead the group with seven points, with Haiti at the bottom of the standings on one point.
The Reggae Boyz will enter tonight's game with a lot of confidence, following their 1-1 draw against the Costa Ricans on Friday at the National Stadium.
The Reggae Boyz, who have won an away game in the qualifiers so far, can take heart from the fact that they dominated the first half of last Friday's game against Costa Rica and scored the opening goal.
However, the Costa Ricans fought their way back in the second half, when they scored the equaliser to draw to the match.
