After a successful opening of the Laugh out Loud Comedy Tour at the Lime Golf Academy on Tuesday night, the focus is now being turned to The Mannings School, giving western Jamaica its chance to see Emanuella in action.
"Western Jamaica has been anticipating her," Daniella McLean, project manager for the comedy tour, told The Gleaner.
McLean noted that Emanuella landed at the Sangster International Airport, and based on the expressions of the people, they can't wait for the moment to see the Internet sensation in action. She told The Gleaner yesterday that the wait for Emanuella will be worth it.
"They can expect a fun-filled show, and come prepared to laugh," McLean said.
Tuesday's show was one of the most anticipated shows being held on Emancipation Day, and with the main attraction having travelled all the way from Nigeria, the excitement coming from patrons was at its peak. The show, which featured young YouTube sensation Emanuella Samuel, drew a huge crowd and caused a traffic pile-up that forced some patrons to park their cars nearby and walk to the venue.
When the young Nigerian was announced by the MCs the venue erupted in loud cheers and screams. Clad in the black, gold and green of Jamaica, Emanuella and her uncles touched the stage and had persons cracking up. However, some patrons felt they did not get enough of Emanuella.
