St Elizabeth resident 67-year-old Mervin Bent otherwise called 'Puddy', who was reported missing earlier this month, has been found dead.

The Junction Police report that Bent, who is from Rose Hall in the parish, was found hanging by a length of rope from a tree in bushes in the community on Wednesday.

The police say he’s suspected to have committed suicide.

Bent was reported missing on December 4.
