The young professional affiliate of the ruling Jamaica Labour Party, Generation 2000 (G2K), says the anti-crime plan presented by the Opposition People's National Party (PNP) is proof that the party is not fit to lead the country.
G2K President Stephen Edwards says the PNP's anti-crime plan that was unveiled yesterday is void of any new and concrete strategy.
He says what has been presented by the opposition party is at best a repeat of existing policies and strategies that have been put in place by the government.

The JLP affiliate says given the lack of specifics and the absence of anything new in its anti-crime plan Opposition Leader Dr Peter Phillips should refrain from making baseless public statements.
G2K says the PNP should focus instead on bringing constructive, well-researched suggestions to discussions with the Government.
