A wanted man was among four men arrested yesterday by the police in an operation in Long Wall, Stony Hill, St Andrew.

The police say the men are being questioned in relation to several major crimes committed in the Kingston Western Division and other areas.

Their identities are being withheld at this time.

The police say three of the men are from a West Kingston addresses and the other is from a St Thomas address.

The police say after the men were taken into custody an operation was carried out in Matthews Lane, Kingston where a Smith and Wesson 9 millimetre pistol with one 9 millimetre cartridge was seized.
