Dana Minto, the 50-year-old nurse who struck and killed two persons with her motor vehicle in Glendevon, St James, last November, had her bail extended until May 3 when she appeared in the St James Parish Court yesterday.
Minto, who is charged with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving, was given the new date after presiding parish judge Sandria Wong-Small was told that the post-mortem report was still outstanding.
Minto was arrested and charged following the November 13, 2017 crash when the Toyota Ipsum vehicle she was driving mowed down four persons along Felicity Road in Glendevon.
She was reportedly attempting to overtake another vehicle when the accident occurred.
Fifteen-year-old Shantae Rose, a student of Green Pond High School in the parish, and 52-year-old Franklin Hylton were hit by the vehicle and died at the scene.
Rose's mother and sister, who were also hit by the vehicle, were both hospitalised with non-life-threatening injuries.
