Britany Anderson will be the only Jamaican in the final of the women's 100-metre hurdle at the IAAF World Under 20 Championship in Finland.
Anderson, the World Under 18 Champion, booked her spot by winning semifinal three in an impressive personal best time of 13.10 seconds.
It is the second fastest time among the athletes who have qualified for the final.
However, there was disappointment for her teammate Amoi Brown, the National Junior Champion for the event.
Brown failed to advance after finishing third in her semifinal in a time of 13.52 seconds.

Meanwhile the men's 4x400m team also failed to advanced to the final of the event after they were disqualified for a lane violation.
