The summer is blazing and the The Deck is trying to match up to the heat by adding a few new cocktails to their catalogue.
The Wrayito and the Sangster's Chocolate Seduction are just two of the new loves. The Wrayito is a play on the traditional mojito with one of Jamaica's favourites as its main spirit - Wray & Nephew Overproof Rum. The Sangster's Chocolate Seduction's smooth chocolate flavour will be the favourite for every woman who loves chocolate, and will still manage to steal the heart of many who do not.
Popular Deck cocktails such as the Deck Teaser and the Deck Relaxer are still available and both have a bit of tropical flavour and are ideal for the summer days. The Deck Teaser which includes Appleton Special, orange and pineapple juice, while the Deck Relaxer includes Peach Schnapps, Skyy Vodka, Wray & Nephew Coconut Rum, pineapple and cranberry juices.
Their cocktail menu is not all that is getting a new touch, as there is also refurbishing being done. They are planning on adding a modern edge, while maintaining its rustic and laid-back mystique.
Guests' palates will still be delighted by the menu, with dishes like the oxtail and beans served with rice and tossed salad for a hearty, flavourful meal. The steak-and-cheese sandwich for beef lovers, and the escoveitched fish cuts and fried bammy are the ideal fun food. These and other favourites will still be available.

Ingredients:
10 Mint Leaves
1.5oz Wrap and Nephew Overproof Rum
2tsp Simple Syrup
1/2 Lime
Splash of Club Soda
Directions:
Muddle together mint and lime syrup.
Add the rest of the ingredient and serve in a rock glass.

3oz Sangster's Rum Cream
1.5oz Appleton Signature Blend
1oz Amaretto
1tbsp Chocolate
Directions:
Place ice in a shaker to half mark and add all ingredients. Shake vigorously. Serve in a martini glass.
