A night of stars and high spirits. That was the inviting atmosphere when CEO of Scotiabank David Noel hosted the company's annual Christmas party. The Worthington at the Spanish Court Hotel lit up for the season in hues of red and gold. And under the sophisticated theme, 'Modern Metropolitan Luxe', the event functioned as a mecca of great conversations in great company.
Upon arrival, guests were greeted by a beautiful chandelier along the walkway of black velvet adorned with lights reflecting the night's sky. A gold-panelled backdrop, bordered with roses, ended their strides. The bank's logo prominently displayed and lit in red provided the picturesque opportunity for those all-important selfies.
Transformed into a winter wonderland, the interior was exquisitely draped in white and adorned with beautiful floral arrangements of hydrangeas and roses courtesy of Tai Flora Luxe, truly executing the theme of Modern Metropolitan Luxe.
The musical musings of cellist Jamila Falack serenaded those in attendance on entry. Champagne flowed as guests mixed polite banter with wine during the cocktail hour, food stations whetting the appetite, and two fully stocked bars satisfying thirsts - there was something for just about everyone to enjoy.
"Jamaica's economy is the best that it has been in years. We are optimistic about our future and we want to grow with our economy. We are investing in the economy and we are here to meet your needs. Feel free to reach out to us, and I hope to see you all out on the dance floor," Noel said in his brief thank you to patrons at the event.
A dance party which followed, saw Scotiabank executives and guests hitting the dance floor in fine style.
