JN Bank will extend its opening hours at some of its key branches on Wednesday, December 19, to facilitate its members and customers.
"At this time of year, many persons are in need of additional funds to prepare for the Christmas season in terms of home improvements, decorations, personal shopping and to conduct other activities," said Saniah Spencer, chief, of marketing and product development, JN Bank.
Therefore, on December 19, the bank will, remain open until 10 p.m. in the following areas: Ocho Rios, St Ann; Half-Way Tree and New Kingston in St Andrew, and Mandeville, Manchester.
Spencer also disclosed that, persons who apply for a loan between now and December 19 will receive their loan funds by December 21.
In addition, she pointed out that JN members can borrow up to 12 times the funds in their fixed account at JN Bank, or up to $5 million, at a very competitive interest rate.
"This is not merely for the Yuletide season," Spencer disclosed, "It is also a loan opportunity which is available to our members throughout the year, so that they can acquire the assets to position themselves to grow," she said.
