The Frankfield police are probing the suspected drowning of a 10-year-old boy in Lampard district, Clarendon yesterday.

He has been identified as Maalik Walters.

Reports are that about 2:00 p.m., residents found Maalik lying on the bank of the Rio Minho and called the police.

The boy was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
