A couple who spent 123 days handcuffed to each other split up as soon as they were freed.
Viktoria 'Vika' Pustovitova and Alexander 'Sasha' Kudlay linked themselves together back on Valentine's Day to test their bond but it turns out that the experience only took its toll on their relationship.
The pair used cutters to finally free themselves from each other and Vika could be heard celebrating as she was released.
She said: "I want to live my own independent life, and grow as an independent person."
Sasha added that the pair were happy to have shared the experience together but feels they are better off going their separate ways.
He said: "Thank you all for supporting us. Look, we are now at a distance from each other.
"We were happy, and we are now happy to have had this experience in our lives."
