Edwin Allen High School's Bryan Levell, the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls' Athletics Championships Class One 100m winner, ran the fastest time in the 200m semi-final in 21.14 seconds on Friday.
St Jago's Gregory Prince, who captured the 400m title on Thursday night, had the second-fastest time with 21.34, while Jamaica College's (JC) Deandre Watkin was the third fastest overall with a time of 21.35.
In Class Two, 100m champion Mark Anthony Miller of JC had a comfortable run in his semi-final in a time of 22.10, the fastest time entering the final on Saturday. Steer Town Academy's Omarion Barrett had the second-fastest time with 22.17 while Class Two 400m champion Marcinho Rose of Kingston College (KC), had a comfortable run with 22.47, despite needing treatment after Thursday night's exploits.
In Class Three, Herbert Morrison's 100m champion Tavaine Stewart remained on course for a sprint double, winning his semi-final heat in 23.54, the fastest time overall. KC's Shavaughn Brown of Kingston College is the second-fastest finalist with 23.58 in his semi-final, while Calabar High's Nickecoy Bramwell had the third-fastest time with 24.00.
