Middle order batsman Vishaul Singh became the second century maker for the Guyana Harpy Eagles who piled up a whopping 584 for seven at stumps against the Jamaica Scorpions on day three of their West Indies Championship encounter at the Diego Martin Sports Complex.
When stumps were drawn the Harpy Eagles led the Scorpions by 191 runs with three wickets in hand thanks to an even unbeaten hundred from Singh and a masterful 184 from Tagenarine Chanderpaul.
Captain Leon Johnson chipped in with 57 while Kevin Sinclair made 36 against four wickets for 122 from Nicholson Gordon.
There was a wicket each for Jamie Merchant, Alwyn Williams and Jermaine Blackwood.
Over at the Queen's Park Oval, the Windward Islands Volcanoes closed day thee on 127 for three, still needing 286 runs to beat the Leeward Islands Hurricanes heading into Saturday’s final day.
