Commonwealth Games gold medallist Lamara Distin continued to break new ground in her indoor campaign, extending her own national indoor high jump record at the Tiger Paw Invitational in Clemson, South Carolina today.
Distin, who established then national indoor record of 1.94m at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic on February 5, went further with an effort of 1.97, equalling the national outdoor record she set last year.
Distin is currently tied fifth all time on the all-collegiate rankings with that 1.97 clearance.
