Kingston College’s (KC) Tahj-Marques White safely booked his spot into Thursday's final of the Boys’ Class II 400 metres with a composed victory in semi-final three, clocking a calculated 48.49 seconds to win ahead of Excelsior’s Kishawn Hoffman, 49.14.
Jamaica College’s (JC) Omary Robinson, who competed in the second semi-final, clocked a speedy 48.50 to finish ahead of St Catherine’s Ian Baker, 48.70.
The fastest of three races came in the second semi-final as Calabar’s Nickecoy Bramwell stopped the clock at 48.47.
The Boys’ 400 metres final will see; JC’s Robinson, St Catherine’s Baker, St Mary Technical’s Kenrick Sharpe, Alphansus Davis’ Daniel Francis, Calabar’s Bramwell, Maggoty’s Zachary Wallace, KC’s White and Excelsior’s Hoffman, face the starter.
