Jamaica's Natrece East and Tiana Marshall booked their places in the semi-finals of the Under-17 girls 100m at the 50th Carifta Games in Nassau, Bahamas this morning.
East was third in her first-round heat, clocking 12.10 seconds, while Marshall was fourth in her heat with 12.23. Both advanced to the semi-finals as non-automatic qualifiers.
Jamiah Nabbie of the Bahamas clocked the fastest time among the field heading into the semi-finals, clocking 11.75 to win her heat.
The semi-finals and finals will take place this afternoon beginning at 4:00 p.m.
