Defending Jamaica Premier League (JPL) champions Harbour View took a step closer to retaining their title despite losing 3-2 to Humble Lion in their quarter-final second-leg game this evening at Sabina Park.
Christojaye Daley gave Harbour View the lead in the 10th minute, before Humble Lion came storming back with goals from Andre Clennon two minutes into first half added time, Roshane Sharpe in the 57th minute and Javon Smith in the 66th minute to level the series 3-3 on aggregate.
But captain Ryan Wellington’s 77th-minute header was the difference as Harbour View regained the aggregate lead and won the series 4-3.
Humble Lion's Dasha Satchwell was ejected five minutes into second-half added time after picking up his second yellow card for dissent.
Harbour View will face Cavalier in the semi-finals.
